We Are Here to Help

Home Builders with Hearts is the official 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the Helena Building Industry Association (HBIA), created with one mission in mind—supporting our own when life takes an unexpected turn.

This foundation serves as a medical beneficiary fund available to all HBIA members, as well as the employees of member businesses and their families. That means whether you are a builder, a supplier, an office team member, or part of a member’s family, you are eligible for assistance.

Our goal is simple but impactful: to provide meaningful financial support to those in our HBIA community facing hardship due to a medical situation. This could include help with:

Travel costs for treatment
Medical bills or related healthcare expenses
Living expenses during recovery
Financial relief during an absence from work caused by illness or injury

We know that when medical challenges arise, the financial burden can add unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. That’s why Home Builders with Hearts exists—to be a safety net and a source of hope for our members and their loved ones.

Our primary fundraising event is held each year in conjunction with the HBIA Holiday Party, where the generosity of our members and supporters shines brightest. However, contributions are welcome year-round, and applications for assistance can be submitted at any time—because medical needs don’t follow a calendar.

Whether you choose to donate, nominate someone in need, or simply help spread the word, you are helping strengthen a foundation built on compassion, community, and care. Together, we can ensure that when a member of our HBIA family faces a medical crisis, they never face it alone.
